Email to a FriendI went on a women’s beach retreat for my church and played with my LensBaby Edge80. Here are some of my favorite shots.

This is my best friend of nine years.

This beautiful girl is graduating this year.

A couple more friends jumped in.

This lovely lady is expecting her second baby. Such an adorable baby bump.

This shot was awesome with that log.

I’m the one on the left, totally spazzy. I am these girls’ youth leader at church.

Email to a FriendI was especially excited about this newborn session. My husband and I have been friends with this family for years and this was my first opportunity to take pictures for them. That being said, this mommy has been my biggest advertisement for my photography. She worked at an elementary school and many of the teachers were pregnant and she passed my business card around. Many of the newborn pictures I have taken have been because of her.
Her little daughter was an absolute angel for her photo shoot. And when big sister woke from her nap, she was more than willing to join in the fun. They are just beautiful.
Email to a FriendHudson is such a sweet little boy. He was so good for his newborn pictures. It is so funny how newborns already have their own personalities. As long as we had the heater blowing on him, he was content. I just loved his big lips!
Email to a FriendWeddings in February just exude love. This young couple were very lucky to have the beautiful, clear weather for their special day.

The groom and his brothers enjoyed posing for their pictures.

The bride’s dress was beautiful with the intricate beading.

I think the groom was feeling pretty lucky. Who can blame him?
The temple such a beautiful place, especially for weddings!

The bride was a natural when it came to posing. I told her she looked like a princess and she said, “That’s the idea.”

Their reception was held at a church building.

The reception hall was magical with the strings of lights everywhere.

This shot of the bride drinking from the cup was probably my favorite of the reception.

Then the couple got a little creative with the tea lights. Love the Iron Man pose.

It was a beautiful wedding!
